Davood Roostaei (1959-2023)

Born in 1959, Davood Roostaei brought his talent for paint to the world. From an Iranian prison to the world stage, his splashes of color not only graced the canvas, but touched every person he encountered. As a friend to our senior appraiser, and to MIR, he provided a colorful light in a grey world.

He will be greatly missed.
